About Fishers of Men
Fishers of Men began in 2003 when God touched the hearts of a few faithful Christians from eastern North Carolina as they went on their first mission trip to Honduras. The sights, the sounds, and the smells all made for a unique and life changing experience. Beginning with just a few people, God began to grant a vision, a dream, for a lasting partnership that would help minister to the physical and spiritual needs of God's children in one of the poorest nations on earth. As God began to place this vision and burden for ministry on the hearts of more believers, the Fishers of Men organization was officially started. As an inter-denominational missions ministry, Fishers of Men has become a vessel for helping mission minded churches and Christians of diverse backgrounds fulfill God's Great Commission. The seeds that were planted five or more years ago are bearing tremendous rewards for God's Kingdom. Yet, there are more "fish in the sea" and many, many ways to make a difference in the lives of the Honduran people. We need your support and are praying that God will show you the ways in which you might become a partner in this life-changing ministry!
